Dear Church Family,
As we reflect on the results of the elections, I want to remind you of the message we shared in last Sunday’s sermon. I know that some of you are filled with excitement this morning, while others may be feeling less enthusiastic. Just this past Monday night, we gathered in prayer, asking the Lord to bless us with a spirit of unity after the elections. Now, more than ever, let us come together in that spirit.
Let us take to heart the call to pray for our new leaders. As Christians, we are instructed to uphold those in authority in our prayers (1 Timothy 2:1-2). This is an opportunity for us to demonstrate our faith and commitment to God’s will.
I invite you to join us for our next prayer gathering this Saturday, November 9, from 9-11 AM. Let us remain at the foot of the cross, where we need to be, where we belong. Together, we can and will glorify God for His continued love, grace, and mercy. As we anticipate Saturday's prayer time, remember that our God is sovereign, and He holds all things in His hands.
This Sunday, we are excited to gather for a time of blessings, praise, and worship, and we will have the joy of fellowshipping with our friends from Wilmington, NC. I encourage you to invite a friend to experience the blessings of being in the presence of the Lord.
I look forward to seeing you all this Saturday for a powerful prayer time and Sunday for a special and uplifting time together before the Lord.
In His love and sovereignty,
Pastor Lubin Beaucejour
Senior Pastor
