"We have witnessed spiritual growth, renewed commitments, restored lives, faithful service, and hearts drawn back to the house of God"

Updated: Feb 4

Let us choose forgiveness over offense, grace over judgment, and faith over fear.

Beloved FBC Wallingford Church Family:

Grace and peace to you in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

As we stand at the threshold of the close of another year, my heart overflows with gratitude to God for each of you and for all He has done among us in 2025. Truly, we can say with confidence as the psalmist declared, “The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy” (Psalm 126:3).

Church family, we have indeed come a mighty long way – but the faithfulness of God has carried us every step of the journey. Through trials and triumphs, uncertainty and victories, the Lord has proven Himself faithful again and again. We have witnessed spiritual growth, renewed commitments, restored lives, faithful service, and hearts drawn back to the house of God. None of this happened by accident – it happened by the grace of God and through your obedience, prayers, love, and perseverance.

This year, the Lord has blessed us not only materially, but spiritually. He has strengthened our unity, deepened our worship, sharpened our vision, and expanded our compassion. We have seen new faces, renewed lives, baptisms, commitments, and a hunger for God’s Word. As Scripture reminds us, “Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6).

As we prepare to end this year, I encourage us to hold tightly to our unbreakable unity in Christ. Let us continue to maximize love while minimizing sin. Let us guard our hearts, our words, and our relationships. Let us choose forgiveness over offense, grace over judgment, and faith over fear. The Word of God exhorts us, “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins” (1 Peter 4:8).

Family, let us not finish 2025 weary, discouraged, or distracted – but let us finish strong. Let us end this year with praises on our lips and thanksgiving in our hearts. Let worship rise in our homes, in our conversations, and in our daily living. “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord” (Psalm 150:6). No matter what this year has held – God is still worthy to be praised.

I am deeply grateful for your faithfulness, your sacrifices, your prayers, and your unwavering commitment to the mission of this church. Serving as your Senior Pastor is one of the great honors of my life, and I thank God for the privilege of walking this journey with you.

As we look ahead with faith and expectation, may the Lord bless you and keep you, may He make His face shine upon you, and may He grant you peace (Numbers 6:24–26). The best is yet to come because our God is not finished with us.

With much love always,

Your Senior Pastor,

Lubin Beaucejour
