February 2026
Dear FBC Family:
Grace and peace to you in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Welcome to February. After the stormy days we experienced in January, this new month could not be more welcoming. We give thanks to God who is still our refuge and strength, “a very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1). May this season bring renewed hope, fresh vision, and a deeper hunger for His presence in each of our lives.
We are grateful to share that our Dominican Republic mission team of 80 has safely returned after serving the needy with compassion, courage, and Christ-like love. In the coming weeks, we will have the joy of hearing their powerful testimonies of how God moved through their hands and hearts. Stay tuned as we celebrate what the Lord has done!
As we continue forward in 2026, let us remember our theme for the year: “Spiritual Empowerment.” The Word of God reminds us, “Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation” (1 Peter 2:2). Yet there comes a time when we must move from milk to solid food, embracing the deeper nourishment of God’s Word. Let us commit ourselves daily to prayer, study, and obedience, allowing the Holy Spirit to strengthen us from the inside out.
Let us also serve with all our hearts, minds, and souls. May our church remain a welcoming place where new families can find love, truth, and a spiritual home. As Scripture teaches, “Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing” (Psalm 100:2). When we serve with joy and intention, we reflect the heart of Christ to a world in need.
Beloved, let us continue to walk together in unity, faith, and love—being intentional in serving others and bold in living out the Gospel every day. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His Spirit empower you in every step you take this month.
With love,
In Him and for Him,
Your Senior Pastor
