This Weekend: Two Outreach Opportunities With FBC Wallingford

There are two wonderful outreach opportunities this weekend to serve and get involved with serving those in need:

Loaves and Fishes Food Distribution: Join friends from FBC Wallingford this Saturday, February 26, as we travel to New Haven to serve with the Loaves and Fishes ministry.

This will involve food and clothing distribution to people and families in need. Their mission is "to share God’s love by providing food, clothing, and community to our neighbors in a safe and welcoming space.”

Meet at 7:30am on Saturday, February 26, in the parking lot next to the church (114 N. Main St, Wallingford, behind the old Wells Fargo Bank) to head down to New Haven.

Questions? Email Mike Harnos or call the FBC office at 203-269-4796.

Food for Wallingford Emergency Shelter: Help provide meals to those in need in our local community this Sunday, February 27.

As you are probably aware, the Wallingford Emergency Shelter is not open and the clients are currently being housed in a hotel in Middletown. It has come to our attention that the shelter currently has a need to have Sunday dinner provided to its 40 clients, and FBC Wallingford will be doing this on Sunday, February 27.

Please help with preparing meals or donating food or funds toward this effort! Send an email to Sandy Drozd or Cindy Rusate, or call the FBC Office at 203-269-4796.
