The Grace of Giving

Updated: Jan 4, 2021

Greetings in Christ!

Grace and peace to you all in these unsettled times. Due to COVID-19, these past several months have been a tremendous challenge in so many ways for individuals, families, churches, and of course, our nation and world.

While we (FBC family) have seen challenges along the way and have been dealing with the COVID-19 situation, we are happy to report that God is faithful! He has proven Himself repeatedly through the faithful, consistent giving of people just like you! —THANK YOU!

But we realize, of course, that there are many whose finances have not been the same. Some have been unable to give of tithes and offerings like they regularly do. We are praying that God will “open the floodgates of Heaven” in a powerful way very soon.

Despite the uncertainties and challenges of the year 2020, FBC Wallingford has been able to continue its support of local and foreign ministries, share the gospel message through virtual media, and expand FBC Wallingford’s outreach through various social media venues, and we also completed the second-floor renovation of the MPH.

We are now preparing for God’s calling on FBC Wallingford to move in ministry and mission in our community and beyond in 2021…this is the reason for this letter…to encourage each of us to reflect, pray, and prepare for how we each are called to support Christ’s ministries through our church community. One of the greatest indications of our love for the Lord and His church is both our desire to give, as well as the action of giving, no matter the challenges that we may face in the coming year of 2021.

Please click here to commit your continuous giving to the work and ministries of FBC Wallingford in this New Year of 2021!

You may support FBC through on-line at any time by visiting www.fbcwlfd.org/give (your tithes and offerings can also be given safely and securely through the FBC website).

Thank you for your heart for the Lord and His work through His church.

In Christ,

Pastor Steve Knott

Numbers 6: 24-26 “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.”
