New Discipleship Ministry Director: Welcome Jackie Blake!

Please welcome Jackie Blake to FBC Wallingford as the new Discipleship Ministry Director!

Hear from Jackie as she shares her passion for discipleship and serving the Lord: "I was raised in Hamden by two immigrant parents who shared their love and connection to their faith with my sister and me. At a very young age, I started volunteering my free time by singing in the church choir, teaching Sunday School and teaching summer Bible camp. I am a graduate of Gateway Community College and Southern Connecticut State University, and I have degrees in Child Growth and Development, Special Education, Psychology and Creative Writing. Over the years, I have had wonderful opportunities to work in a variety of educational settings including private schools, Head-start programs, schools for children with emotional and learning difficulties, as well as my own classroom at home where I teach my twins.
